AUM is made up of three Sanskrit letters aa [A], au [U], and ma [M]. When combined together, it results in Aum, which is believed to be the basic sound of the Universe
The audible range for human beings is 20Hz-20KHz. From the study of musical sound in routine settings have a range starting from just below the lower octave [256-512Hz] to the middle octave [1024-2048Hz].
Since AUM is a combination tones it requires a mean to assess the pronunciation of Aum, . One study attempted to find out Frequency components by using frequency analysis using Fast-Fourier-Transform. The recorded sound of Aum of a person was fed to a cathode ray oscilloscope to observe the wave form. The result showed component frequencies well below 100Hz. The analysis led to different results for different persons. Inference: it is the individual’s characteristics that determine a particular outcome.
Modern terminology Schumman resonance has a close significance. Aum corresponds to the strongest of the schuman resonance among all other bio magnetic fields. Schumann Resonances of earth, ie, 7.83, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz We all know 7.83 hz being the strongest of all.
Based on some research thye say the fequency of AUM is 7.83 hz.
Remember its all vibration, E = M * C2 the energy emitted is square of the vibration of Chant we use.
Brainwaves can be categorized according to their frequency:
Gamma (100 – 38 Hertz = cycles per second)
Beta (38 – 15 Hz)
Alpha (14 – 8 Hz)
Theta (7 – 4 Hz)
Delta (3 – 0,5 Hz)
